What if celebs endorsed Wal Mart over Target?
Today I was rumbling through some google alerts and stumbled across an article asking the question "what if jordan chose Adidas over Nike?" (http://www.sneakerfreaker.com/articles/What-If-Jordan-Chose-Adidas/)
The article talks about the profit decline Nike suffered in 1984 and the profit gain they got from signing the great Michael Jordan. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that Jordan has made Nike major bucks while Adidas has struggled with popularity amongst the Hip Hop & urban retail market since Jordan's release. It also doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that had Jordan signed a deal with Adidas they would be head honchos.
As I thought about this I formed my own question. What if the same celebrities who endorsed Target even before it was your favorite "for less" store actually supported Wal mart? Years ago Tyra Banks was known for Being an avid shopper of Target, and Today we have heard many reality stars talk about shopping at Target. In my opinion Target is the ish!
When Tarfet opened they started with a line called mossimo and it carried mostly basic pieces while today you will find that Target has developed a full retail department with really pieces! They have also paired with major fashion brands such as Jason Wu and Neiman Marcus.
If the same thing happened for Wal mart, would they be the head honcho for fashion?

Emerald is in!
You don’t have to wait for Earth Day to go green — Pantone, the leading authority when it comes to color, named emerald the shade
for 2013.
“It’s inevitable,” said Sondra Grace, chairwoman of the fashion department of Massachusetts College of Art in Boston.
Happily for shoppers, it’s also very accessible, with home decorators praising its calming qualities and fashionistas claiming it as a neutral.
